S. Paul Musco

Board of Directors

Sebastian Paul Musco was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island to two Italian immigrants. He was one of many children. Mr. Musco recalls when he was young, he thought his family was wealthy because they had everything they needed: a roof over their head in a small apartment, his mother would make him and all of his siblings custom tailored clothes since she was a seamstress, and his father would bring food on the table and no one would ever starve.

You have to give from the heart.
— S. Paul Musco

With his humble beginnings and a good head on his shoulders thanks to his parents, Mr. Musco eventually found himself as a struggling chemist in his late 40s when living in Chicago. He promised his wife he'll soon have his breakthrough. Soon after, Mr. Musco successfully patented a method of extracting precious metals from crude oil and Gemini Industries Incorporated was launched.

Success soon followed, but Mr. Musco never forgot "where he came from." Historically, Mr. Musco has donated the most money in Orange County, CA than anyone before him. Mr. Musco has supported many organizations including, but not limiting to, the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the UC Irvine Diabetes Center, PBS SoCaL, Chapman University, the Norbertines at St. Michael's Abbey, and of course, Hands Across the Planet to Poor Youth.
